One of my resolutions for this year is to post daily on my blog. :) Hold me to it people. :)

On the 30th of this month I will be participating in a Valentine Boutique Open House at a friend's house. I will have a background set up with VALENTINE props!!! How fun is that?! If you are interested send me a note and I'll get you the info.

The assignment was to use shoes, hands, or chairs to tell a story. I LOVE shoes, so of course I chose SHOES. Maybe they aren't the sexiest of shoes... let me take that back... running shoes are total sexy, because they symbolize exercise and fitness... what's sexier than that? hmm?

Who doesn't LOVE Nordies? They have new stuff in for the fall. This look is perfect for portraits. Accessories are great to show off your personal style. This scarf looks so soft and adds an element of touch and texture to pictures. A pair of jeans and some BOOTS would go great with this...

More images from this tomorrow. The festival was a blast today. It started off with a bit of rain and some rumbling from above, but in the end it proved to be a hot day with few clouds. The girls autographed calendars and walked around the festival after their performances.

The California State fair located in Sacramento was a blast! There was so much to do and see there. Of course there were all the food vendors with everything from fried frog legs to deep fried s'mores. I absolutely LOVE the lights at night.

People ask me all the time... "What should I wear?" So I decided to start blogging on Fridays about just that. These are only suggestions. There is some good advice written in. If you choose these outfits things could obviously be substituted. Have fun! Look for another Fashion Friday next.... FRIDAY. :) I will try to keep outfit pieces together from one store to make it easier on those who want the whole thing. :)

Sunflower Power

This flower is my little guy's pride and joy right now. He planted it as a seed and it is now almost as tall as the fence. He called me to go outside and see it because it nearly bloomed over night.

She made it into the Royal Court! She is so excited. We were so busy last week with final prep stuff for the pageant and her bday party.

Not only did she make it onto the Royal Court but she also received the Director's Award.

today she had her interview for the Pageant. we won't know her scores until later on. i took her on a SUPER mini shoot afterwords.

Tracy Bean Pageant Contestant Float

She had so much fun during this process. We had a float party two evenings in a row when the parents worked on getting the float decorated and the girls had a chance to hang out and get to know each other. It was a blast! It was so cute watching all the young ladies throw candy and wave to everyone. The weather was perfect! A little on the warm side, but necessary for the pool.

Are the kiddos bored already? I found this cute idea and thought the kids could make one for themselves. Check out the instructions at the object project. Easy $1 store idea using bracelets! You probably don't even have to go to the store for this one. (image and idea from the object project) I like it to use as a prop. :)
